Unity Grooveshark scope 0.1 updated with Previews support
Grooveshark is a widely known, used and appreciated online music streaming service, allowing users to enjoy a massive database of music tracks via a clean intuitive web interface, with support for musical genres (such as Ambient, Classical, Dance, Electronic, etc), search-trough, sharing (Google+, Twitter, Facebook), etc.
Unity Grooveshark scope is (as its name says) a handy scope, pushing a solid amount of Grooveshark tracks into the handiness of the Unity Music lens.
Basically, the Grooveshark scope presents itself as an extra component to the Music lens, further enriching its already-present scopes: local (songs played via Rhythmbox, --the default behavior--, songs played via Clementine, Audacious, Gmusicbrowser, Guayadeque, Musique via third-party scopes) and online-based (such as Ubuntu One Music Store's).
Its usage is as simple as opening the Music lens, typing a word in the search area and clicking on a preferred result, action that opens it via the default web-browser (playing the opened item via its Grooveshark webpage).
Grooveshark's items are properly rendered with big-sized thumbnails, thumbnails exposes as images (of tracks, albums, etc) and/or via a fancy monochrome icon (used by Grooveshark, the online service, itself), minor yet relevant addition (that generates a pleasant consistency throughout the Music lens, due to its used-by-Ubuntu-One-Music-Store-and-local-albums-also size).
Furthermore, the users (already enjoying Grooveshark) are to immediately benefit the monochrome icons, instantly being able to identify the Grooveshark-generated items.
Unity Grooveshark scope has been updated to an interesting release, 0.1, introducing support for the Unity Previews, consequently, right-clicking on a Grooveshark item, opens it in its dedicated preview, featuring "title", artist, big-sized preview image, as well as a handy
Play button (clicking on it, opens the previewed items via the default web-browser).
